Cainergy has successfully delivered the final phase of the construction, installation and pre-commissioning of flow-lines/wellhead platforms in Gbetiokun OML 40 (7,8 &9) and well head installation for Elcrest/NPDC JV. This included the construction, pre-commissioning of 2 x 4″ new flow-lines, design and installation of cathodic protection for the flow-lines.

The project which was awarded to Cainergy in 2021 was delivered in milestones on time and on spec leveraging on Cainergy’s world class project delivery team, ensuring quality delivery and international best practices to exceed customers’ expectations. This is a core ethos for Cainergy and represents the bedrock of all its operations. The Elcrest/NPDC JV well head installation recorded delivery of 100% safety measures and Zero Lost Time Injury (LTI).

Cainergy supplied all of the tools, materials, equipment, logistics, supervision, labour, and other personnel required to deliver this important EPC project through its robust procurement business, leveraging on partnerships with OEMs and equipment vendors.

The safe and effective delivery of flow-lines and wellhead platforms is a crucial milestone in the delivery of this important construction project for Elcrest/NPDC JVN.

The Gbetiokun 498km2 field located south of Nigeria’s OML 40 licenses was found in 1987. It is located on shore 65 kilometres   north of Warri in the Niger Delta. This makes the field one of the largest in the country. Delivery of a project of this kind in an important field in oil rich Nigeria is a significant accomplishment for Cainergy.
