Cainergy group has secured a consultancy contract from NNPC to provide technical engineering valuation services and determination of impairment loss for all assets in Warri Refinery Petroleum Corporation(WRPC).

The Warri Refinery, being the first Nigerian government wholly owned refinery processing 125,000 barrels of crude oil per day. It was essentially built to add value to some of the refinery by-products such as propylene rich stock and decant oil.

Cainergy would be leveraging on its strengths in engineering and project management with a focus on providing ingenious solutions that covers asset lifecycle management of the WRPC assets. With core knowledge of asset management, Cainergy has continuously pushed the boundaries of technology with a continuous delivery of innovative solutions whilst ensuring exceptional service to our clients.

On this project Cainergy would be partnering with financial angel consulting to determine financial/accounting cash flow considerations and validation of the value in use of the WRPC assets.
